My primary academic interest span over two domains. The first pertaining to the field of political science, and the second pertaining to data science and advanced quantitative methods.

Given the field of political science, my main subjects of interest are International Relations, Comparative Politics and Conflict Prediction.

Given the field of data science and advanced quantitative methods, my interest spans broad across subjects such as Frequentist econometric, Bayesian statistics, Machine/Deep Learning, Computer Vision, automated text analysis, Social Network Analysis, geo-spatial analysis, web-scraping and data visualization.

I am currently working on combining Deep Learning and Computer Vision with conflict studies as part of the project Bodies as Battleground: Gender Images and International Security.
