Current research

In his current research, Clemens explores the intersections of rationalities of security and the evolution of research and development infrastructures in Europe. Here, he focuses especially on border security and migration control, but recently also with emerging technologies in defence applications.

Teaching

Clemens Binder is supervising Master's theses and in summer term 2024 teaches the module "The Politics of Migration Control: Critical Social Science Approaches" at the Department of Political Science
