    Joëlle Dumouchel’s primary areas of interest are situated at the intersection of the sociology of International Relations and International Financial Governance. Her work investigates how communities of practice and market representations impact financial governance. She looks at the influence of scientific knowledge on financial governance practices.  Joelle is currently working on a book which addresses the political role of central banks within international financial governance and, more specifically, the historical transformations of central banks’ market stabilization practices. She teaches a vast array of courses in the field of international relations and international political economy.
