Abortion restrictions in Poland - what is the situation and what should the EU do?

Press/Media: Press / Media

The Polish government has adopted the most restrictive abortion legislation in the EU.
This has seriously called into question whether there is any common ground among EU countries when it comes to the ambition of gender equality.
What should the EU do about the situation in Poland, should it interfere at all and is the EU too heterogeneous to achieve common ground when it comes to issues of a value-political nature?
To debate these questions and many more, we have invited:
Regitze Helene Rohlfing Frederiksen, researcher in political science at KU, and Kasia Arndt, member of the International Council of Polish Women and abortion activist.
Host; Vibeke Loft-Magnussen.
