What do the Danes think, know and mean about the Corona Epidemic?

An effective response to the Covid-19 pandemic requires governments and authorities to implement invasive changes to citizens’ everyday lives on short notice. For these changes to effectively curb contagion, citizens need to perceive them as legitimate.

We implement a panel survey of a representative sample of Danish citizens to examine if this is the case. The survey lets us answer questions such as: how do Danes evaluate government performance? To what extent to Danes conform with social distancing guidelines? And to whom do Danes attribute responsibility for the spread of the pandemic?
