Keynote Lecture:
After two decades of travel from the Berlin Wall to the Crimea’s fall where is Europe today?
Europe’s 21st century journey involves neither the creation of a 19th century state nor the emergence of postmodern space, but something more transcending.
Rather than following a well-worn path through familiar lands and language of intergovernmental or supranational Europe, a different means of transport is needed.
A trans-European expression of where Europe is will cover the ground of popular culture, symbols and myths, social communions, and planetary politics in its journey to transgress European Studies and Europe after twenty years of Euroculture.
