Digital Political Science Group

The Digital Political Science Group (DPSG) is a network of scholars who utilize digital methods for the analysis of large data sets – popularly known as 'Big Data'.

The group’s purpose is to forge new research agendas in Political Science through the application of state-of-the-art, Computer Science methods to both traditional data (such as that of the Danish registry) and digital trace data (made available through social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter). The methods employed by the group include Data Mining, Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computational Text Analysis, and Social Network Analysis (SNA).

The DPSG initiative offers an academic forum for researchers and students alike to exchange knowledge and best practices, organize events such as training workshops, and foster interdisciplinary collaboration between projects and across faculties.
