The dialogue between students and staff and among the students themselves has always been central to the University of Copenhagen learning model. In the sixteenth century, students were treated to a meal by Kommunitetet, the Scholarship Foundation of the University of Copenhagen. Here, over a meal, the students spoke amongst themselves in Latin and provided one another with feedback, while a dean would be seated at each table recording the proceedings. A lot has happened since then, and today feedback is incorporated into all subjects and is an integral part of the Department of Political Science education programmes. In the leaflet, you can read about the kinds of feedback you are likely to experience at the department and what is expected of students and staff when giving and receiving feedback.
